Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Principal Data Center Construction Manager to lead field execution for a hyperscale AI data center in Shackelford County, Texas. This onsite role requires coordinating contractors, tracking progress, and ensuring safety and quality across multiple buildings.

The position emphasizes hands-on management, strong communication, and the ability to work with QA/QC, commissioning, and operations teams. Relocation packages are offered for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting construction execution on large-scale projects.
• Experience in data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Onsite with heavy field engagement (85–95%).
• Strong safety and quality management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support daily construction execution for assigned buildings, systems, areas, or trade scopes.
• Coordinate general contractors, subcontractors, foremen, superintendents, and trade partners.
• Monitor field progress, manpower, productivity, sequencing, and readiness.
• Ensure activities align with schedules, milestones, and turnover priorities.
• Identify and resolve field risks, conflicts, and constraints.
• Reinforce onsite safety expectations and quality standards.
• Support turnover readiness for commissioning and startup.
• Track punch lists and milestone updates.
• Provide accurate daily field reports and issue logs.
