Job summary

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Senior Manager, Construction Management to lead field execution for hyperscale data center construction in Shackelford, Texas. The role is highly field-based (85–95% onsite) with direct contractor engagement and hands-on execution management, requiring local of relocation to Abilene area if needed.

The Senior Manager will build and lead a team, coordinate contractors, track progress, enforce safety and quality, and support turnover for commissioning

Qualifications

• 10+ years in managing construction execution on large-scale projects.
• 2+ years in a leadership role with direct reports.
• Experience in data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of sequencing, coordination, and turnover.
• Able to read drawings, specs, schedules and turnover docs.
• Excellent communication and on-site leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily construction execution for assigned buildings or trade scopes.
• Coordinate general contractors, subcontractors, foremen, and trade partners.
• Monitor field progress, manpower, productivity, and readiness.
• Ensure activities align with schedules and turnover priorities.
• Identify and resolve field risks and conflicts; escalate as needed.
• Reinforce onsite safety and quality standards; support commissioning.
• Track punch-lists, turnover readiness, and startup support.
