Job summary

Roxborough Memorial Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Certified Hyperbaric Technologist or Specialist to support its wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy program.

The role collaborates with Medical Director, physicians, and nurses to assess and treat patients, adhering to standards and policies. Candidates should hold CHT/CHS credentials or be within 12 months of certification and have BCLS and relevant clinical experience; EMT/paramedic backgrounds preferred.

Qualifications

• Maintenance of CHT/CHS qualifying credential (or certification within 12 months of hire in case not certified by the time of employment).
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificate
• One year clinical experience in Outpatient Wound Center preferred.
• EMT/Paramedics, Active Duty Corpsmen, diver medical technicians preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the assessment, treatment and education of patients in a wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy center.
• Assist in safe and therapeutic management of patient care in collaboration with the medical director, medical staff and registered nurses.
