Job summary

RestorixHealth seeks an HBO Technician / EMT-Certified to administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy and assist in wound care for referred patients. The role includes patient prep, data collection, and precise documentation in RHX EMR.

The candidate must hold EMT certification (or RN/LVN) and BLS/CPR, with training provided for wound care and chamber operations. Monday–Friday schedule; comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must have valid and current BLS from the American Heart Association.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association required.
• EMT-B/EMT-I/EMT-CC/EMT-P certification in the state of supervision; RN/LVN/LPN also considered.
• CHT certification preferred.
• Prior wound care experience is a plus (will train).
• Basic MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Prior EMR experience preferred.
• Must be physically able to perform CPR.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients referred for treatment.
• Participate in department's quality improvement and data collection for QA & Education.
• Document all care accurately according to policy.
• Provide therapy and hyperbaric chamber operations and maintenance/cleaning.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and intervene as needed.
• Enter all patient notes into RHX EMR system.
• Comply with HIPAA privacy policies and procedures.
• Adhere to patient safety initiatives and infection control procedures.
