Job summary

RestorixHealth is seeking a dedicated HBO Technician to provide Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy to referred patients. The role includes initial and ongoing age-specific assessments and chamber operations, with training provided for the position.

The ideal candidate holds EMT certification (or RN/LVN/LPN) and BLS, CPR credentials, and basic Microsoft Office and EMR familiarity. Occasional travel to local centers may be required as part of coverage.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid and current BLS from the American Heart Association.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• EMT-B, EMT-I, EMT-CC, EMT-P or RN/LVN/LPN certification in the state of work are acceptable; other advanced medical certifications considered.
• CHT training/certification preferred.
• Prior wound care experience preferred (will train).
• Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Prior experience with an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system preferred.
• Must be physically able to perform CPR.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all patients referred for treatment.
• Participate in quality improvement and data collection for QA & Education.
• Document care accurately according to policy.
• Provide therapy and hyperbaric chamber operations and maintenance/cleaning.
• Recognize and intervene when patient condition changes.
• Enter all patient treatment notes into RHX’s EMR system.
• Comply with HIPAA and Privacy policies.
• Adhere to Patient Safety Initiatives and Infection Control procedures.

Education

EMT-B/EMT-I/EMT-CC/EMT-P certification

BLS certification (American Heart Association)

CPR certification (American Heart Association)

RN/LVN/LPN license

CHT certification

Wound care experience (preferred)
