Job summary

RestorixHealth is seeking a dedicated HBO Technician (EMT certified) to provide Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy to referred patients. This role trains on-site and conducts initial and ongoing age-specific assessments, ensuring accurate documentation and safe hyperbaric chamber operation.

You will maintain RHX EMR entries, participate in QA/education data collection, and uphold HIPAA and infection-control policies.

Qualifications

• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination by date of hire is required.
• Must have a valid and current BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B, EMT-I, EMT-CC, EMT-P), RN or LVN/LPN certification in the state where the Technician will work.
• CHT trained/certified preferred.
• Prior wound care experience is a plus (will train).
• Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Prior EMR experience preferred.
• Must be physically able to perform CPR.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all patients referred for treatment.
• Participate in quality improvement and data collection for QA & Education.
• Document care accurately and completely per hospital policy.
• Provide therapy and hyperbaric chamber operations and maintenance as required.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and intervene appropriately.
• Enter all patient treatment notes into RHX EMR system.
• Comply with HIPAA privacy policies and hospital safety initiatives.
• Travel to other local centers for coverage and training when required.
