Job summary

Healogics is seeking a Hyperbaric Safety Director to oversee safe operation of hyperbaric chambers and related support systems. You will ensure compliance with policies, lead safety programs, and collaborate with medical and facility leadership to maintain high safety standards.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, incident review, drills, and continuous safety improvements in a fast-paced wound care environment.

Qualifications

• Current BLS/CPR certification to be maintained.
• Hyperbaric equipment and related systems troubleshooting skills.
• Attention to detail in all tasks.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Perform hyperbaric chamber operator duties: educate, prep patients, assist during treatment.
• Monitor chamber performance and patient responses; adjust for safety.
• Enter data for daily treatments and wound care visits; maintain patient records.
• Operate and maintain hyperbaric chamber and support oxygen systems.
• Lead the hyperbaric safety program and conduct safety drills.
• Collaborate with leadership to upgrade and repair hyperbaric systems.
• Maintain department compliance with NFPA 99 and related policies.
