Job summary

Healogics is seeking a Hyperbaric Safety Director to oversee the safe operation of the hyperbaric chamber(s) and related support systems, ensuring patient safety during HBOT sessions.

Reporting to the Program Director, you will maintain equipment, lead safety program activities, conduct drills, and collaborate with clinical staff to update procedures and standards.

This role requires strong leadership and adherence to hospital policies and federal guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Performs hyperbaric chamber operator duties, including preparing and orienting patients for Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.
• Administering hyperbaric oxygen therapy as prescribed, monitoring chamber performance and patient responses.
• Making data entries for daily treatments and wound care visits, and maintaining patient records.
• Operating and maintaining the hyperbaric chamber and related oxygen systems as required.
• Participating in the safety program, including conducting safety drills.
• Ensuring safety and compliance of hyperbaric equipment, supplies, and upgrades in collaboration with leadership.
