Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Hyperbaric Technician for the Marsh Dickinson Occup Hlt facility in Iron Mountain, MI. The role involves administering hyperbaric oxygen therapy under provider direction and maintaining equipment within a busy clinic setting.

Requirements include two years of clinical experience, active EMT/MA/LPN/LVN licenses (state or multi-state), and BLS. CHt preferred, with a strong emphasis on patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience in clinical licensed or certified position working in a clinical setting.
• Certification exam in Hyperbaric Technology is offered in conjunction with UHMS Chapter.
• NBDHMT CHt preferred.
• Currently holds an EMT/MA/LPN/LVN license as required by the state where practice occurs and/or multistate licensure (NLC).
• BLS for health care providers required or within first 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs hyperbaric oxygen therapy on approved patients under the direction of a provider.
• Provides patient consultation as requested.
• Operates, monitors, and maintains hyperbaric support systems with an established treatment plan.
• Monitors and reports therapy results to providers.
