Location: Corner Dental - Oregon, OH

Job Type: Full-time

Your Work Schedule:

  1. Monday: 9am-6pm
  2. Tuesday: 8am-5pm
  3. Wednesday: 8am-5pm
  4. Thursday: 8am-5pm
  5. Friday: 8am-3pm

Your Role as a Hygiene Assistant: As a Hygiene Assistant, you’ll collaborate with our practice team to provide outstanding clinical support, ensuring patients receive the care they need. You’ll prepare patients for treatment, assist the hygienist/dentist in restorative procedures, and maintain a high standard of care and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance to the dental hygienist to prepare the room, seat patients, and take proper documentation of the patients' visit.
  • Record and review patients’ health history, make chart entries under the direction of the Doctor or hygienist, and assure completion of all necessary forms and signatures needed.
  • Educate patients on their treatment plans as well as maintaining their oral health.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment possessing excellent interpersonal skills such as establishing positive relationships with our team and patients.
  • Communicate professionally both orally and in writing with a service-oriented approach.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Dental Assisting Certification or prior on-the-job training.
  • 1-5 years of experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Radiography/X-Ray certification (state-specific).
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional service and patient education.
