Hygiene Assistant

Smiling from Open to Close (Pay Rate $15.00-20.00/hr)

Monday through Thursday and 1 Friday per month, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm

Responsibilities

• Assist the dental hygienist by preparing the room, seating patients, and documenting visits
• Record and review patients' health histories, make chart entries, and ensure all forms are completed
• Educate patients on treatment plans and maintaining oral health
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with excellent interpersonal skills
• Communicate professionally both orally and in writing with a service-oriented approach

Qualifications

• Dental Assisting Certification, state-required education, or prior on-the-job training
• One or more years of experience preferred
• Radiography/X-ray certification for the respective state
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patients
