Dental Care of Davenport is looking for a Hygiene Assistant to join our team. This is the perfect role for someone with little to no dental experience to join a world-class organization that offers unparalleled training. More about the role
  • Greet and welcome patients, ensuring their comfort and providing education throughout their treatment.
  • Review patient health histories to ensure quality care.
  • Assist hygienists during procedures in accordance with the state dental practice act.
  • Help set up and restock treatment rooms with instruments and supplies.
  • Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
  • Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA & CDC guidelines.
  • Partner with team members to follow office systems and optimize workflow.
Minimum Qualifications
  • On-the-job training and additional certification may be required based on state requirements.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Must protect patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Prolonged sitting and standing.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds.
  • Availability for periodic training sessions.
  • TB test is required prior to employment, except in FL & TN.
