Job summary

HydroExcavators, LLC is seeking HydroX - Non-CDL Operators to operate the on-board hydro-vacuum system, perform non-destructive excavation, and support yard and field operations.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, strong safety mindset, and the ability to work with heavy equipment. Occasional travel to other sites and flexible hours are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and OSHA10 safety card required.
• If OSHA10 not held, the company will fund online training and certification.
• Certification remains the applicant's property.

Responsibilities

• Operate the hydro-vacuum system for non-destructive excavation.
• Document all required company, federal, state and customer paperwork.
• Communicate with on-site representatives to park equipment safely.
• Lead and direct crew on site to perform tasks safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues as needed.
• Travel to out-of-town and out-of-state sites when required.
• Lift/pull/push 60+ pounds and work with heavy equipment.
• Work flexible hours and be 21+ with ability to navigate electronics.

Location

Position Overview

Seventy percent or more of the job's work time is spent operating the on-board hydro- vacuum system outside the truckperforming non-destructive excavation around sensitive underground piping and cables.
Other hydro-vac work consists of tank entry, cleaning and vacuuming, mobilization of equipment, truck maintenance, andsafety meetings. Heavy lifting at times is required. Working at heights is sometimes required.

Essential Functions

• Valid Driver's license
• Properly document all Company, Federal, State, and Customer documentation/paperwork as required by law andor established policy in a clear and legible manner.
• Able to effectively and professionally communicate with on-site customer representatives to locate the leastintrusive and safest place to park company equipment while on the job site.
• Able to lead and direct subordinate personnel to perform duties/tasks in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
• Able to troubleshoot and as the need arises perform minor repairs to equipment.
• Safety-mindedness is essential.
• Travel out of town and out of state to work will be required.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull 60+ pounds and work heavy equipment
• Must be willing to work flexible hours.
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be comfortable navigating electronic equipment

Qualifications

Education Required: Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent and OSHA10 safety card certification is required. (If applicant does not hold an OSHA10 certification, Hydro Excavators, LLC will pay for computer-based training with applicant completing on-line course within 5 days of hiring on their own. Certification is the property of the applicant.)
