Job summary

Driven Services LLC is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead safety, compliance, and field operations across our industrial service projects. You will oversee scheduling, procurement, and crew leadership to maximize safety and efficiency.

Travel to job sites is required; you will manage DOT compliance, audits, and training programs, while building strong client relationships and controlling costs to maximize billable time.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of operations management experience in industrial services or construction.
• Strong knowledge of excavation safety and DOT regulations.
• Proficiency in Service Core or similar field service software.
• Solution-oriented, able to meet strict deadlines.

Primary Responsibilities

Safety & Compliance

• Conduct two field safety audits per week covering JSA documentation and excavation safety.
• Ensure DOT compliance and lead regular department safety meetings.
• Manage the vehicle maintenance program, fuel cards, and monthly inspections.

Operations & Administration

• Secure and track purchase orders daily, with updates submitted by 9:00 AM.
• Oversee scheduling, ticketing, and time entries in Service Core, ensuring accurate pricing and job scopes.
• Ensure all field staff are trained and proficient in Service Core.

Management & Development

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Control department costs, reduce non-billable time, and improve efficiency.
• Lead hiring and develop training programs and career paths for the team.
• Plan dispatching, crew pairings, and truck routing for project success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of operations management experience in industrial services or construction (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of excavation safety and DOT regulations.
• Proficiency in Service Core or similar field service software.

Working Conditions

• Field Presence: Requires regular travel to job sites to conduct safety audits and provide operational support in various outdoor environments.

Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions, includingextreme heat, cold, rain, and wind.

Physical Demands

Ability to navigate uneven terrain, climb in and out of vehicles, and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods.

High-Pressure Deadlines

Fast-paced office and field environment with a strict focus on meeting daily 9:00 AM administrative and reporting deadlines.

Schedule Flexibility

Primarily a daytime leadership role, but may require occasional early morning, evening, or weekend availability to support field emergencies or urgent projects.

Safety Hazards

Regular proximity to heavy machinery, excavation sites, and commercial vehicle traffic, requiring constant situational awareness.
