Job summary

Superior Hydrovac is seeking a Hydrovac Operator to join our field teams in Spring, TX. You will operate hydrovac trucks and related equipment to safely expose underground utilities while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Requirements include a Class A CDL with Air Brake and Tank endorsements and at least 1 year of related experience or training. You must pass background checks and a pre-employment drug screen and be able to obtain a valid state driver's license within two weeks.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with Air Brake and Tanker Endorsement is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience or training.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Residence Driver’s License within two weeks.
• Criminal and MVR background checks and a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for hydro excavation projects including utility line exposure, debris removal, trenching.
• Operate Hydrovac trucks and equipment in a safe and professional manner.
• Supervise Hydrovac Laborers to support skill development.
• Set up and inspect grounding and bonding procedures for Hydrovac operation.
• Complete all required paperwork properly and within set time lines.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, as well as routine maintenance.
• Perform daily vacuum excavation tasks and expose utilities for HDD work.
• Expose existing underground utilities for new placement and maintenance work.
