Job summary

Consolidated Resource, LLC is hiring a Hydrovac Operator/CDL driver to support diverse field operations in Colorado. The role includes operating hydrovac and other heavy equipment, performing inspections, and maintaining safety standards on site.

The ideal candidate is CDL-certified, capable of reading project plans, and ready for labor support as needed. This position offers variable pay per project, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork in challenging environments.

Qualifications

  • Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
  • Must be able to come to work promptly, regularly, and on-time.
  • Able to follow instruction and carry out duties while unsupervised.
  • Work proficiently with tools and equipment.
  • Willing to work well with others and maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Capable of openly communicating ideas and problems
  • Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

  • Work safely in potentially hazardous environments.
  • Operate high pressure power washing equipment.
  • Offer labor support to crews when equipment operating is not the primary task at hand.
  • Lift/Carry heavy objects up to 50#
  • Proficiently use hand and power tools
  • General construction and excavation skills
  • Shows competency and ability to operate various pieces of heavy equipment and or the specific equipment the individual is being hired to operate.
  • Earth moving equipment.
  • Skidsteer, compaction equipment, loaders
  • Forklifts or powered industrial trucks.
  • Arial lifts and platforms
  • Hydrovacs
  • CDL required transport (i.e. Side Dumps, Dump Truck, Etc.)
  • Specialized equipment
  • Ability to perform general maintenance and inspections of the equipment they will be operating.
  • Comprehend project plans and documents.
  • layout excavation construction zones
  • Participate in daily JSA meetings.
  • Complete daily equipment or vehicle inspections
  • Safely climb in and out of elevated equipment.
  • assist in daily inspection of safety equipment.
  • Operator or CDL driver 2 includes the above responsibilities as well as the below skills/traits .
  • Trackhoe, Dozer, motor grader, Scraper and other specialized equipment
  • Operate all functions of a hydrovac independently.
  • Preform basic maintenance functions on the equipment they are assigned to operate.
  • Ability to lead a crew effectively and safely in the absence of the direct supervisor.
  • Ability to mentor and train other operators on skill sets of various advanced equipment.
  • Ability to operate a lowboy trailer, gooseneck trailer or side dump.
  • Exemplifies safety conscious decisions when working on a daily basis
  • Exemplifies exception professionalism with customers and peers at all times.
  • Ability to preform competent DOT OQ tasks and ability to complete competent DOT OQ’ testing for qualifications

This position serves as a qualified Hydrovac Operator or CDL driver and is used to support a wide variety of tasks in our day to day operations. Job duties will vary considerably from day to day as this is a very diverse position. The compensation for this position will vary depending on the project, location and experience of the individual and will be evaluated by the hiring supervisor at time of hire.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position is not a supervisory role but will remain accountable to help ensure all co-workers are working in a manner that is conducive to the safety of everyone around. This position will report directly to their respective supervisor.


WORKING CONDITIONS

This position will be faced with varying working conditions. Inclement and/or extreme weather may be a factor as well as other unforeseen conditions. The potential for long hours and varying shifts may also exist.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS


  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at frequent intervals, 100 pounds at regular intervals, and heavier weights in team situations with proper technique to prevent injury.

  • Must be able to quickly and safely move across a work site, typically loose ground or uneven terrain.

  • Must be able to stand, bend, crawl, stretch, lay, squat in order to maintain equipment or make appropriate adjustments for tasks in the field.

  • Possess the manual dexterity to perform detail work at regular intervals.

  • Possess the visual acuity to complete detailed tasks at regular intervals.
