Job summary

Badger Infrastructure Solutions is seeking a Hydrovac Operator to safely operate hydrovac equipment and assist with utility exposure on construction sites. You will drive hydrovac trucks, participate in safety meetings, and help set up work areas with appropriate safety measures.

Requirements include a valid CDL, plus CPR/First Aid and OSHA 10 (preferred). The role may involve travel up to 25% and physical manual labor in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A or B CDL.
• CPR/First Aid, Fall Protection and OSHA 10 certification (preferred).
• Experience driving a manual transmission (10-18 speed) with no automatic restrictions (preferred).
• Ability to work variable shifts with extended hours.
• Must be willing to travel up to 25%.
• Must lift, push, pull 50+ pounds and endure manual labor in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate hydrovac equipment and perform hydrovac duties in various environments, including confined spaces.
• Drive hydrovac trucks (10-15% of total work time).
• Attend safety meetings.
• Inspect and perform minor repairs on hydrovac equipment.
• Prepare work areas with safety measures and hazard control.
• Document and report all paperwork accurately and efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Operating hydrovac equipment and performing hydrovac duties in a variety of working environments, including confined spaces
• Driving our hydrovac trucks (10-15% of total work time)
• Attending safety meetings
• Performing routine inspections and minor repairs of the hydrovac equipment
• Preparing work areas by setting up safety measures and addressing potential hazards
• Documenting and reporting all Badger, Federal, State, and Customer paperwork accurately and efficiently

What We're Looking For:

• Must have a valid Class A or B CDL
• CPR/First Aid, Fall Protection and OSHA 10 certification (preferred)
• Experience driving a manual transmission (10-18 speed) without automatic restrictions (preferred)
• Ability to work variable shifts with extended hours
• Must be willing to travel up to 25%
• Must be able to lift, push, pull 50+ pounds and have the physical stamina for manual labor in varying weather conditions
• Prior hydrovac equipment operations or related industrial experience preferred
• Must be at least 21 years of age
