CST Utilities is seeking a Hydro Vac Operator in Ohio to support underground utility construction projects. The role focuses on safe, efficient hydrovac operations, utility exposure, potholing, trenching, and debris removal with high-pressure water and vacuum systems.
You will perform routine equipment inspections, maintain tools, complete DVIRs and logs, and coordinate with crew under varying weather and site conditions. A CDL B with tanker endorsements is required.

The Hydro Vac Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating hydrovac equipment to perform non-destructive excavation in support of underground utility construction and maintenance projects, including exposing utilities, potholing, trenching, and debris removal using high-pressure water and vacuum systems while ensuring the protection of existing infrastructure; the operator also conducts routine equipment inspections, performs basic maintenance, completes required documentation such as DVIRs and job logs, maintains a clean and organized work environment, and demonstrates strong communication, situational awareness, and the ability to work effectively in varying weather conditions and dynamic job site environments.
