Job summary

Badger Daylighting Corp. in the United States is seeking a Hydrovac Operator to perform high‑pressure hydrovac digging and utility uncovering on construction sites.

Qualifications

  • Valid CDL required (Class A or B).
  • CPR/First Aid, Fall Protection and OSHA 10 certifications preferred.
  • Experience driving manual transmissions (10-18 speeds) preferred.
  • Must be 21+ years old and able to travel up to 25%.
  • Physical ability to lift/push/pull 50+ lbs and perform manual labor.
  • Prior hydrovac or related industrial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate hydrovac equipment and perform hydrovac duties in varied environments.
  • Drive hydrovac trucks 10–15% of total work time.
  • Attend safety meetings and perform routine equipment inspections.
  • Prepare work areas with proper safety measures and address hazards.
  • Document and report all paperwork accurately, including union, client, and regulatory records.

In this role, you'll use high-pressure water and vacuum systems to dig precisely and efficiently, uncover utilities, and contribute to various construction projects.
