Job summary

Pipe View America seeks a HydroVac Lead to oversee cleanliness, safety, maintenance, and productivity of the HydroVac Truck. Lead will receive direction from a Mainline Lead or Field Supervisor and work with a team to deliver reliable service.

The role requires hands-on truck operation, daily DOT documentation, and strong mechanical and GIS skills. A safe driving record and English proficiency are required; CDL with tanker endorsement is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have safe driving record.
• High School Degree preferred; 2+ years HydroVac operations preferred.
• CDL and tanker endorsement preferred; willingness to obtain.
• Read, write and speak English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Insure HydroVac unit is operational with no safety concerns.
• Document all travel, onsite and other time on DOT forms/apps.
• Perform complete truck evaluation at start of each shift and document on DOT forms/apps.
• Perform sewer cleaning and debris removal.
• Perform hydroexcavation and excavation.
• Assist mainline and other camera trucks with equipment or scope.
• Utilize GIS to document production and site conditions.
• Perform periodic maintenance (grease, lubricants, valves, winterizing).
• Insure storage areas and truck compartments are clean and organized.
• Coil/stow related hoses and attachments between uses.
