Qualifications

• Operate hydrovac excavation equipment safely and efficiently.
• CDL-B license with tanker endorsement.
• Self-motivated with ability to lead and follow leadership directions.
• Strong safety history and knowledge of excavation, trenching and shoring safety standards.
• Ability to pass physical and skills assessments.
• Excellent communication with supervisors, teammates and subcontractors.
• Reliable with good attendance and flexibility to work across the Denver metro area.
• Knowledge of machines, tools, and routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate hydrovac trucks and equipment for non-destructive excavation.
• Perform hydro excavation around sensitive infrastructure.
• Maintain and perform minor repairs on hydrovac equipment.
• Prepare sites and clean up after excavation, store or dispose of materials properly.
• Follow OSHA/DOT safety protocols including lockout/tagout and hazard assessments.
• Complete daily inspections and report issues to Supervisor.
• Maintain logs of work, soils, locates and permits; report incidents immediately.
• Collaborate with Foremen to ensure safety and schedule adherence.
• Coordinate machine functions with crew signals and safety rules.
