Job summary

HydroExcavators, LLC is seeking a Hydrovac CDL Operator to join our field teams in Asheville, NC. You will operate the on-board hydro-vacuum system for non-destructive excavation around underground piping and cables, with some heavy lifting, truck maintenance, and safety meetings.

Qualifications include a CDL with Tanker endorsement, OSHA-10, and a high school diploma. We provide industry-leading benefits starting Day 1 and weekly pay with overtime potential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; OSHA10 certification required or provided within 5 days of hiring.
• CDL-A or CDL-B with Tanker endorsement and no restrictions.
• DOT medical card and good safety record are expected.

Responsibilities

• Operate the on-board hydro-vacuum system for non-destructive excavation.
• Handle tank entry, cleaning, vacuuming, and equipment mobilization.
• Document company and regulatory paperwork clearly and accurately.
• Lead, direct, and coordinate subordinate personnel on site.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform repairs as needed.
• Travel to job sites out of town or out of state; lift 60+ pounds.
