Job summary

SeAH Steel USA in Houston, TX seeks a Hydrotester Operator to conduct hydrostatic testing of pipe material per plant policies and procedures. You will ensure safe, compliant operation during your shift and assist with equipment maintenance and documentation.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of experience or training, and strong verbal/written communication. Safety awareness and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• 1 year experience or on the job training.
• Knowledge of OCTG pipe inspection industry is a plus.
• Successful completion of pre-screen drug test and physical.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate hydrotester equipment and perform hydrostatic testing.
• Report to supervisor for briefing on daily tasks.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safe housekeeping.
• Record production and findings in ERP system or required documents.
• Communicate issues with material and equipment to supervisor.
• Assist in repair and replacement during maintenance shutdowns.
• Other duties as assigned.
