Job summary

HDR is hiring a Hydropower Structural EIT/Designer in Charlotte, NC. You will assist senior engineers with design and analysis of reinforced concrete and/or structural steel, and help compile reports and memos while documenting active construction.

You should have a Bachelor's in Structural Eng, and an EIT (or ability to obtain within 6 months); a Master's degree is preferred. HDR values inclusion and employee ownership; this is a full-time role in our Power sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Active participant in employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Assist design and analysis of reinforced concrete and/or structural steel.
• Assist with compiling engineering reports and memos.
• Note taking and photo documentation of active construction.
• Perform routine engineering tasks per ACI and AISC standards.
• Support project management activities and coordinate with team.
