Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Hydropower Project Manager in San Diego to lead small to medium projects and coordinate cross-disciplinary teams across design, permitting, and construction. You will establish client relations and participate in marketing, contracts, and production meetings.

You will manage scope, schedule, budgets, and track financial performance while delivering compliant, high-quality documents. HDR emphasizes inclusion, employee ownership, and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and related professional experience.
• 7 years related experience
• Minimum of 2 years project management experience
• Ability to interact with design teams and demonstrate strong organizational, PM and communication skills
• Active participation in employee-owned culture required

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium single-discipline projects or large, routine projects
• Independently coordinate work of professional staff and balance team throughout project development
• Establish client relations and participate in marketing, contractual, design and production meetings
• Participate in reviews with governing agencies for compliance
• Conduct design development and contract document work sessions with staff
• Coordinate workload through project development and ensure documents are on schedule
• Track financial aspects and coordinate and adjust work to meet schedule
• Collaborate with Business/Accounting Manager and Department Manager for reviews
• Perform other duties as needed
