Qualifications

• Must have English proficiency to understand and follow safety instructions.
• Must pass required training and testing.

Responsibilities

• Safely assist with maintenance and repair of heavy equipment (haul trucks, water trucks, dozers, loaders, graders).
• Assist journeyman mechanics with maintenance on transmissions, engines, brakes, differentials, pumps, motors, torque converters, final drives.
• Perform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment.
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems.
• May operate forklifts, cranes, and small mobile equipment.
• Conduct housekeeping and area checks.
