• Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Reads and applies part specifications, work instructions, routings and process control plan prints.

Responsibilities

• Reads job specs to adjust machines and determine material needs.
• Uses calipers/micrometers to verify dimensions per control plan.
• Changes tooling as per charts and records tool changes.
• Safely loads bar stock into machines and works with setup/engineering to solve problems.
• Ensures parts meet specifications and detects defects.
• Performs daily machine maintenance and minor changes between part families.
