EKI Environment & Water, Inc. is seeking a Water Resources Hydrogeologist/Engineer to support projects in Texas and other states from initial planning through design and implementation.
Responsibilities include developing groundwater models (MODFLOW), preparing reports, and coordinating with clients and staff. A Bachelor's in a relevant field plus 3+ years' experience is expected; Texas licensure preferred.

The Water Resources Hydrogeologist/Engineer position reports to the Team Leader (TL) and is responsible for supporting water resources projects with clients in Texas, Colorado, California, and other states where EKI operates from initial project planning through feasibility analyses, design, implementation, and completion. Projects may include aquifer characterization, water budgets and water accounting frameworks, groundwater-flow and constituent transport modeling, water supply planning, production well design, water transfer support, indirect and direct potable reuse planning, litigation support, and more.
Your responsibilities may include, but will not be limited to the following:
Technical knowledge in numerical groundwater modeling (e.g., MODFLOW), water resources planning, groundwater availability investigations, data management and visualization, ArcGIS, and technical writingProficiency with Python is preferredKnowledge of and experience with Texas groundwater regulations, water data sources, groundwater availability models, and regional water planning processes is preferredOSHA HAZWOPER training preferredEffective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate and coordinate with EKI staff, clients, subconsultants, regulatory agencies, and members of the publicAbility to multi-task, stay organized, work independently, and collaborate with various project teamsDemonstrated time management skills, strong work ethic, and attention to detailDemonstrated commitment to professional growth and continuous learning
