Job summary

A leading hydrogen solutions provider based in North Carolina is seeking a Commissioning & Maintenance Specialist responsible for commissioning and maintaining hydrogen storage and electrolyzer systems. This role requires extensive travel (up to 100%) and excellent mechanical skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial gas or high-pressure systems and exceptional communication abilities. A commitment to safety and customer service is critical. Competitive benefits and salary range of $27.00 - $38.90 per hour are offered.

Qualifications

  • Three or more years of experience in construction, repair, or maintenance in an electrical, industrial, or mechanical field.
  • Associates degree or vocational degree in engineering, electronics, pressurized systems, or other applicable field preferred.
  • Ability to travel as needed to carry out duties of the position - up to 100%.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer sites for troubleshooting and repair of hydrogen products.
  • Execute high-level service repair projects on hydrogen infrastructure.
  • Provide training on troubleshooting and service of hydrogen infrastructure.
  • Inspect and test hydrogen systems as per ASME standards.
  • Maintain a focus on safety in all work facets.

Skills

Industrial gas or high-pressure systems experience
Superior communication and interpersonal skills
High level of skill with mechanical systems installation, troubleshooting, and repair
Ability to diagnose system failures and isolate root cause
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software

Education

Associates degree in engineering, electronics, or pressurized systems
