BigLift Shipping B.V. is seeking a Project Engineer (Hydro) to lead hydrodynamics-focused project preparations and on-site execution for offshore and heavy lift operations worldwide.

You will collaborate with engineers and operations staff to ensure safe, timely delivery of complex cargoes. The role requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in marine or mechanical engineering and at least 3 years of relevant maritime or offshore experience, with willingness to travel internationally and take

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in marine or mechanical engineering and a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in the maritime or offshore industry.

Responsibilities

• Complete project preparations and execution on site with a team of operational experts and fellow engineers.
• Arrange design and subcontract steel works, ensure on-time delivery, and use on site.
• Act as point of contact for vessel motions, motion monitoring, mooring analysis and hydro topics for offshore projects.
