Job summary

Eagle Creek Renewable Energy seeks a Millwright Apprentice/Helper to perform teardown, inspection, repair, and reassembly of hydroelectric units. The role travels ~80% across our hydro assets and operates under the Lead Millwright.

Two years of millwright experience is required, with a Journeyman certification preferred; safety training such as LOTO is expected and proficiency with measurement tools is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of millwright experience.
• Journeyman Millwright certification or equivalent.
• Experience with rotating heavy equipment preferred (hydroelectric/power generation).
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments and alignment equipment.
• Current LOTO and confined space entry training; rigging certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical training preferred.
• Valid driver's license; ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform teardown and reassembly of turbine components to OEM tolerances.
• Conduct precision measurements and alignments; document findings in overhaul logs.
• Rig, sling, and guide crane lifts per approved lift plans.
• Adhere to safety procedures and participate in pre-job briefs.
• Assist Millwrights with planning, parts staging, and tool prep.
• Identify wear/damage and report findings promptly.
