Forum Energy Technologies, Inc. is hiring a vessel preparation technician to support hydrostatic (and occasional air) testing per code specs and customer requirements. You will prepare vessels, GPUs, spools, line heaters, and operate test equipment, ensuring safe, leak-free assemblies.

Knowledge of piping, proper test gauge selection, and safe handling of pressurized systems is essential. This is a safety-sensitive role that emphasizes quality, timely execution, and adherence to SOPs.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Working knowledge of piping and test procedures.
• Ability to determine proper test pressure from drawings/work tickets.
• Awareness of safety practices when handling pressurized systems.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare vessels, GPUs, line heaters, and spools for hydrostatic and occasional air testing per procedures and specs.
• Identify correct test pressures from drawings and select appropriate test gauges.
• Recycle water to storage and dry vessels after testing.
• Maintain quality as per Forum US, Inc. requirements and meet production schedules.
• Inspect and seal joints, install fill lines/vents, and operate pumps during tests.
• Perform low-pressure air tests and assist supervisor with any other tasks.
