Qualifications

• Industrial, shop, or construction labor experience preferred.
• Hydro pressure testing or mechanical experience is an asset (training available).
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable working night shift hours (1:30 PM - 12:00 AM).
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to pass drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup, execution, and teardown of hydrostatic pressure tests in the shop
• Prepare test assemblies by installing blinds, plugs, caps, hoses, and pressure gauges
• Fill, pressurize, monitor, and drain test systems under supervision
• Inspect assemblies for leaks and report findings to supervisors
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Handle and move materials using hand tools or lifting devices as required
• Follow all shop safety rules, procedures, and quality standards
• Perform general labor and support tasks as assigned

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently hiring for the role of Hydro Pressure Testing Laborer (Shop-Night Shift).

This position will support our hydrostatic pressure testing operations for piping, spools, valves, and other related equipment. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and able to perform physical labor in an industrial shop setting.

SCHEDULE:

• Full-time
• • Night shift: 1:30 PM - 12:00 AM
  • 4 - 10 Hour Shifts with Night Shift Premium
  • Overtime may be required based on workload
  • Indoor industrial shop environment
  • In person at our Weirton, WV shop

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Stand for extended periods of time.
• Frequently kneel, bend, stoop, and move in confined areas with multiple moving parts.
• Perform repetitive motions associated with sanding, grinding, and spray painting.
• This position is performed in a manufacturing environment. The employee may be exposed to:
  • Hot, cold, and outdoor weather conditions
  • Moving mechanical parts
  • Fumes, dust, and caustic chemicals
  • Elevated noise levels requiring hearing protection
