Job summary

TAD PGS, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Technician (Level 3/4) in the Redondo Beach area to support hydraulic and structural test activities on flight and development hardware. The role requires hands-on assembly, test setup, and data recording using blueprints and procedures.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of technician experience, DoD Secret clearance eligibility, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work shift hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of technician experience.
• Experience with blueprints, diagrams, or schematics.
• Experience with hydraulic systems and/or structural testing.
• Candidate must be able to obtain/maintain DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, plumb, and operate hydraulic power units and servo systems.
• Install and maintain hydraulic cylinders and hoses; secure fittings.
• Set up structural test equipment and fixtures; document results.
• Instrument test articles with strain gauges and sensors; troubleshoot.
• Operate test controls, monitor parameters, and record data.
