The ideal candidate will have at least five years of relevant engineering experience and demonstrated proficiency using InfoWorks ICM for hydrologic and hydraulic modeling. The position will involve development, calibration, review, and application of hydraulic models to evaluate existing drainage systems, identify flooding and capacity constraints, and develop infrastructure improvement alternatives. The engineer will work with RIVUS project managers and multidisciplinary teams on municipal and public-sector assignments involving stormwater management, drainage improvements, flood mitigation, watershed studies, and related infrastructure projects. Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is preferred but not required.
RIVUS offers an opportunity for an experienced engineer to deepen their technical expertise in advanced hydraulic modeling while gaining exposure to complex municipal stormwater, drainage, flood-mitigation, and infrastructure programs. The position provides a path toward greater technical leadership, task management, project management, and eventual professional licensure for candidates who wish to pursue those responsibilities.
