Job summary

Sargent Aerospace & Defense seeks a Test Tech II to support the assembly and testing of hydraulic components, collaborating with a multidisciplinary hydraulics team to meet quality and productivity goals.

The role emphasizes safety, compliance with procedures, and ability to work with design and manufacturing engineering to enhance testing processes and achieve efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two+ years combined experience in tear down, inspection, assembly, test, repair/overhaul or troubleshooting of hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical equipment.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test hydraulic components per procedures and schematics.
• Follow safety and quality standards in daily work.
• Promote continual improvement using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Record and report technical data using approved documentation.
• Verify proper equipment and calibration requirements are met.
• Collaborate with Design and Manufacturing Engineering to improve assembly and test processes.
• Perform sub-/lower-level assemblies and tear downs of hydraulic valves and actuators.
