Job summary
HIGH SEAS YACHT SERVICE, INC. in South Florida seeks experienced Marine Hydraulics Field Service Technicians to support yachts and mega-yachts over 60 feet.
You will troubleshoot hydraulic systems, install and service steering, bow thrusters, cranes, and swim platforms, with emphasis on hands-on, self-motivated work and safe procedures. Spanish language skills are a plus and opportunities exist for leadership development.
Qualifications
- Troubleshooting hydraulic and electrical issues on marine equipment.
- Ability to diagnose and repair hydraulic components and systems.
- Knowledge of 12-24VDC, 120-480VAC; PLCs are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Service hydraulic steering systems on yachts 60 ft and larger.
- Install and service bow thrusters and hydraulic cranes/davits.
- Maintain hydraulic swim platforms and related components.
- Perform on-site troubleshooting and repairs with minimal supervision.

Established South Florida Marine Hydraulics Company based in Fort Lauderdale needs additional field service technicians to meet growing demand. Marine Hydraulics Field Service Technicians with experience in the following systems on yachts and mega-yachts over 60 feet:
- Hydraulic Steering System
- Bow Thrusters
- Hydraulic Cranes and Davits
- Hydraulic Swim Platforms
- Hydraulic cylinder testing and service
- Hydraulic hose fabrication
- Ability to disassemble and reassemble equipment with minimal supervision
- Electrical background, 12-24VDC, 120-480VAC, PLC a plus
- Ability to communicate in Spanish a plus
