Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling in Ohio is seeking a Hydraulic Technician to disassemble, inspect, repair and reassemble hydraulic systems and components, ensuring work meets manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Qualifications

• 2–3 years of repair and maintenance on hydraulic components.
• Good mechanical aptitude for hydraulic maintenance and repair.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; English reading/speaking required.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and inspect hydraulic rod cylinders.
• Measure dimensions and determine needed repairs.
• Accumulate parts and assemble cylinders; test function.
• Operate the microfinishing machine and remove/install components.
• Maintain accurate records of time, repairs and parts usage.
• Perform routine shop housekeeping and assist in related areas.
• Work flexible hours including nights/weekends as needed.
