Job summary

CNH Industrial is offering an Engineering and Technical Hydraulic System Engineering Intern position in New Holland, Pennsylvania. The role focuses on the design, validation, and integration of hydraulic systems for CNH machinery, with a strong emphasis on performance, durability, and safety.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering or a related field and want hands-on experience with prototype builds and industry-standard practices.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be pursuing (at minimum) a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Supporting system and component design work for hydraulic applications in agricultural and construction machinery.
• Assisting in the creation and execution of validation plans to ensure performance, durability, and safety requirements are met.
• Contributing to prototype machine builds, helping integrate hydraulic systems and resolve engineering challenges.
• Collaborating with engineers to analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements.
• Learning industry standards and applying engineering practices to support both new product development and continuous improvement efforts.

Job Purpose

The Hydraulic Engineering team is responsible for the design, validation, and integration of hydraulic systems and components across CNH machinery. By ensuring reliable system performance, the team plays a critical role in supporting equipment productivity and advancing new product development.

Experience Required

• Candidates must be pursuing (at minimum) a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.

Pay Transparency

The annual salary for this role is $23.69 - $25.75 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.) For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
