Job summary

Hydroair, an Applied Fluid Power subsidiary, is currently looking for a Technician to join our team. In this role you’ll be inspecting product and using your knowledge and experience from working on Mechanical, Electro‑Mechanical, Hydraulic, and/or Pneumatic assemblies.

You’ll leverage hands-on experience to please customers and support the sales team. We will train, but must be mechanically inclined. This position emphasizes quality, safety, and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years shop experience.
• Ability to read drawings, prints, schematics is a plus.
• Fluid power component knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Visually verify product compliance with customer and company specifications.
• Functionally verify product performance to the defined test criteria.
• Utilize hand and power tools, electronic and pneumatic testing fixtures and devices.
• Complete department work assignments in a timely manner.
• Create rework instructions or redline documentation and communicate corrective action to the appropriate parties.
• Shift work assignment priorities as needed and as directed.
• Maintain organization of tools and workstation cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
