Job summary
Ultipro is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems on production equipment. You will support manufacturing operations with preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient production.
The role requires 5+ years of experience with manufacturing maintenance, knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and the ability to read manuals, schematics and blueprints.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with manufacturing maintenance and production equipment repairs.
- Extensive knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanics.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Red Seal Millwright is a plus.
- Experience with plastics blow molding operations (injection blow molding, extrusion blow molding) is a plus.
- Must have tools in order to perform all functions of the job/position.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose equipment issues and perform root-cause troubleshooting.
- Complete assigned work orders and participate in daily maintenance planning.
- Support equipment installations, adjustments, and continuous improvement activities.
- Maintain related systems including air compressors, water pumps, vacuum systems, and basic building utilities.
- Document repairs, preventative maintenance, and equipment checks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
