Job summary

HDR Engineering, Inc. in San Diego seeks hydraulic modelers to support design and hydraulic evaluation of water and wastewater systems.

You will develop hydraulic models using GIS data and as-built drawings, collect field data for calibration, and perform hydraulic analyses across multiple software packages. Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, 3 years of experience, and Engineer-in-Training certification.

Qualifications

  • Pre- and post-master's degree experience accepted.
  • Engineer-in-training (EIT) certification from any state required.

Hydraulic Modelers

Location: HDR Engineering, Inc., 591 Camino de la Reina, Suite 300, San Diego, CA

Will support the design and hydraulic evaluation of new or existing water distribution systems and collection systems.

Responsibilities
  • Develop hydraulic models using GIS data and as-built drawings.
  • Collect and assess field data for hydraulic model calibration.

Travel may be required periodically, typically <5% annually. Telecommuting permitted depending on project location.

Compensation: Basic pay range is $102,898 to $156,310 per year for full-time employment and standard company benefits.
