Hydraulic Controls, Inc. is seeking a Mechanic in Stockton, CA to perform skilled repair, disassembly, diagnosis, reassembly and testing of hydraulic components.

You will work from drawings and instructions, using hand tools and welding equipment to produce quality repaired products. Responsibilities include handling parts, identifying fittings, assisting with inventory transactions, and maintaining records while adhering to safety regulations and team collaboration.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3+ years related experience or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions, schematics and assembly drawings.
  • Familiarity with measuring equipment and basic handheld tools.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Performs skilled operations from cleaning, disassembly, diagnosis, reassembly and testing.
  • Assembles, modifies, and reworks components using drawings and process documents.
  • Uses basic hand tools and machines including calipers, welding equipment and hydraulic test stands.
  • Cleans parts prior to use and identifies fittings and wiring.
  • Supports inventory handling and maintains documentation.
