Job summary

Kenco Hydraulics in Hatfield, PA is seeking a hands-on Hydraulic Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems across a variety of equipment. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and customer service while offering overtime opportunities and a chance to grow technical skills.

You will work with hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, and related components, performing welding and fabrication as needed and documenting service work accurately.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and repair experience with hydraulic, mechanical, and compressed air systems.
• Experience with hydraulic plumbing, welding, and fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical schematics.
• Willingness to learn and operate shop equipment (lathes, mills, presses, etc.).
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills (or willingness to learn).

What You’ll Do

As a Mechanic at Kenco Hydraulics, you’ll play a key role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic systems and equipment. Your work will directly impact our customers’ operations.

Key responsibilities include:

Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic system issues

This role may include overtime, occasional travel, and on-call work.

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who is both technically skilled and motivated to deliver excellent service.

Preferred qualifications:

Strong troubleshooting and repair experience with hydraulic, mechanical, and compressed air systems

Experience with hydraulic plumbing, welding, and fabrication

Ability to read and interpret hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical schematics

Willingness to learn and operate shop equipment (lathes, mills, presses, etc.)

Strong work ethic and ability to work independently

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Basic computer skills (or willingness to learn)

Physical requirements:

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly

Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, and lifting

Full range of motion and ability to push/pull as needed
