Job Description

As a PIRTEK Hydraulic Hose Service Technician, you will operate out of a PIRTEK Service & Supply Center and a purpose‑built mobile service vehicle. You will respond to service calls, fabricate hydraulic hose assemblies on‑site, troubleshoot hose and fitting failures, and help customers minimize costly equipment downtime. Successful candidates will receive paid factory‑certified training and hands‑on instruction to safely operate PIRTEK's specialized service equipment.

Responsibilities

• Service, assemble, and install hydraulic and industrial hoses
• Respond to scheduled and emergency service calls
• Operate a fully equipped mobile service vehicle
• Build relationships with new and existing customers
• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Maintain inventory and equipment within service vehicle
• Follow company safety procedures and operational standards

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Positive attitude and self‑motivated work ethic
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Must be willing to travel for company‑sponsored paid training
• Experience in automotive, diesel, heavy equipment, fleet maintenance, industrial maintenance, manufacturing, welding, HVAC, agricultural equipment, or similar mechanical trades is preferred but not required
