Yancey Bros. Co. is seeking a reliable Hydraulic Hose Builder to assemble and inspect hydraulic hoses, pull parts, and maintain a clean, safe warehouse.

You will perform daily cycle counts, stock handling, and assist technicians and stores within the Yancey family. The role requires forklift certification, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset. Qualifications

• Able to obtain forklift certification.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively and occasional higher amounts with assistive devices.
• Willingness to work in hot/cold weather conditions.
• Problem solving and multitasking.
• Safety conscious and customer focused.
• Be self-driven and take pride in your work.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and inspect hydraulic hoses per customer request.
• Research part numbers and pull parts from warehouse.
• Maintain a clean work area by sweeping and cleaning shop each day.
• Perform and enter daily cycle counts each morning prior to receiving stock or billing out items.
• Receive all stock orders and properly bin locate items without existing bin locations.
• Inspect worn cores before issuing credit.
• Review all part and core credits issued from previous day to verify receipt.
• Build hoses utilizing proper assembly and contamination control techniques.
• Pull all orders in a timely manner including branch transfers and deliveries.
• Maintain a clean warehouse by sweeping and cleaning each day.
• Process and return cores each week.
• Respond to warranty parts return requests each week.
• Purge unneeded items from warranty hold areas monthly.
