Job summary

Value Added Distributors, LLC seeks a Production Associate in Manitowoc, WI for a full-time, daytime role. You will assemble hydraulic hose products, follow production guidelines, operate basic hand and power tools, and complete inspection paperwork while meeting quality and delivery standards.

The position offers a competitive $16 per hour, health/dental/vision coverage, paid vacation and holidays, and a 401(k) with employer match.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Willing to learn and follow standard practices
• Ability to type 25+ wpm
• Able to use various equipment such as saws, crimpers, forklifts
• Ability to read and interpret technical work instructions and documents
• Ability to apply basic math
• Ability to read tape measures and digital calipers
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to provide timely communications within a team
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs
• Experience in an industrial manufacturing setting is a plus
• Forklift certification is a plus, but we will provide training

Responsibilities

• Assemble hydraulic hose products following production guidelines and quality standards
• Safely operate hand and power tools
• Complete inspection paperwork and maintain a clean workspace
• Meet customer requirements and delivery timelines
• Collaborate with team to solve issues and identify nonconforming products
