Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect machines to diagnose defects.
• Fit bearings to repair or overhaul hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Diagnose faults using pressure gauges and flow test equipment.
• Rebuild gearboxes and outriggers/booms with minimal rework.
• Inspect units, document repairs, and requisition parts.
• Dismantle/reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools.
• Replace hoses and test assemblies to meet specs.
• Test equipment after repair to ensure performance and safety.
• Maintain records of parts, services and labor.
• Attend safety meetings and follow best practices.
