Job summary

Custom Truck One Source in Kansas City, MO, seeks an experienced Used Equipment Repair/Reman technician to perform heavy-duty modifications and upfits on trucks and truck-mounted equipment, plus vehicle repair and maintenance per factory standards under the guidance of the Used Equipment Installation Manager.

Responsibilities include installing/removing truck bodies, wiring and hydraulic components, fabrication, and maintaining EPA compliance while ensuring shop efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• Weld and fabricate to specifications and standards.
• Understand and apply 12V electrical system knowledge.
• Read and follow installation instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Install and remove truck bodies and equipment on chassis.
• Install electrical or hydraulic components and systems.
• Complete repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
• Fabricate and install components for truck equipment installations.
• Keep shop area neat and account for tools.
• Operate and maintain shop equipment for repairs/PMs.
• Dispose of used oil, antifreeze, and filters per EPA rules.
• Attend factory-sponsored training and safety classes.
• Ensure customers’ trucks are clean and safe to operate.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet objectives.
