Job summary

HAWE North America in the United States is seeking a Hydraulic Design Engineer to support mobile and industrial hydraulic systems. You will design, specify, integrate, troubleshoot, and commission hydraulic and mechanical components for machinery, working with customers, sales, and HAWE teams.

You will apply your hydraulics knowledge and CAD skills to develop schematics, circuits, and layouts, while collaborating across global teams and providing on-site support during commissioning.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in hydraulics and mechanical design.
• Foundational fluid-power knowledge with familiarity of HAWE products is a plus.
• Understanding of mechanical powertrain components such as engines and transmissions.
• Proficiency with 2D/3D CAD and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scopes, hydraulic designs, schematics, and cost estimates.
• Draw hydraulic circuits using pumps, valves, actuators and conditioning components.
• Create construction drawings for hydraulic assemblies and piping layouts.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to meet requirements.
• Provide hands-on support during integration and on-site commissioning.
• Support quotations, sales visits, and product presentations.
